Each year since returning to the Duke Energy Center in 2006, Redsfest has continued to find ways to top itself. For the second year in a row, the winter fan event set a new attendance record, as 23,737 Reds fans came through the gates over the past two days. A Friday night record of 11,020 fans smashed the previous record set in 2010 by around 3,000 fans. Redsfest has been reinvigorated in recent years because of the vision of Reds chief operating officer Phil Castellini, the execution by the director of promotional events, Zach Bonkowski, and hundreds of staff and volunteers.
